"I pointed my ocd in the direction of using every possible element of the original song, but failed. Instead, I tried to make Miriam's voice into textures and melodies as a backdrop to some processed drums and double bass from the original. After I had created the libraries of sounds, I applied generative techniques to construct the rhythm and layout of the composition. I reckon the word 'convoluted' would be an apt description."
